HKU Space and Aviation Society Collaborates with KAAN Technology Club for UAV 101 Basic Level Training
Students of Hasan Kalyoncu University’s (HKU) Space and Aviation Society took a significant step towards shaping their future and entering the aviation sector by collaborating with KAAN Technology Club on April 5 2024, which has achieved 2 finalist positions at TEKNOFEST, one of Turkey’s most prestigious technology and aviation events, and secured 3rd place at the International ODTÜ VTOL Competition, to organize comprehensive training on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
The conducted training aimed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of UAV technologies. Students gained insights into establishing and managing a UAV team, distribution of responsibilities within the team, various fields of work within the team, the process of transforming projects into entrepreneurial opportunities, as well as fundamental knowledge on UAV design and production.
Through this training, students of HKU Space and Aviation Society not only acquired technical knowledge but also had the opportunity to develop collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills essential for a successful career in the aviation sector.
The UAV 101 Basic Level Training organized by HKU Space and Aviation Society in collaboration with KAAN Technology Club was a significant step for students to enhance their skills in the aviation field and actively participate in the industry. We believe that such collaborations enable students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, thereby facilitating a more effective learning experience.
