Research Assistant Kadriye Nur Tekeoğlu from the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences at Hasan Kalyoncu University has been recognized with awards for her work as a founding member and Aerodynamic Calculations and Analysis Lead at KAAN Technology Club in the METU VTOL Aircraft Competition.
Held on November 23-24, 2024, at the Eskişehir Sivrihisar Aviation Center, the METU VTOL Aircraft Competition saw the club’s UAVs excel, with Pars UAV winning 1st place and Aşina UAV securing 2nd place. Despite challenging weather conditions, both UAVs demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the competition.
